1-4/4 3"×2" Intaglio prints on paper

This was an assignment: Create a Series of 4 editions of a intaglio print, using mixed intaglio techniques. I used Aquatint and Hard Ground techniques to etch this illustration onto a zinc plate. The composition is composed of one "Seth" goblin, as appears in MÖRK BORG. These creatures are noteably duplicative, similar to this medium. The goblin holds a knife with glee as it exhibits its gleam. I intended to mimic MÖRK BORG's illustration style, as I illustrated one of its subjects.
